Reuters Events Offshore & Floating Wind Europe Virtual mission is “to engage every tier of the Offshore and Floating Wind supply chain; ensuring bids are won, projects delivered and fleets optimized.”
Capital investment in the offshore wind increased 320%
In the first half of 2020, capital investment in the offshore wind energy industry increased about 320% year-on-year to $35 billion Euros. In lieu of the global pandemic and economic uncertainty, offshore wind is prospering. Further, numerous floating wind sites off the coast of Europe and around the world are operating successfully and generating clean energy. At the conference, attendees include government leaders, site developers, capital investors, asset managers, EPCIs (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation), and other stakeholders representing over 27 countries. #OWEU20
