FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 7, 2020
CAMBRIDGE, MA — WeatherBuild®, Decision Support Solutions for the Construction Industry and Built Environment®, is proud to participate in the Every Day Counts Virtual Summit presented by the Federal Highway Administration, from December 8th to December 10th, 2020. Every Day Counts or EDC is “Innovation for a Nation on the Move.” In this cycle of the highway and transportation event, the seven initiatives feature “…strategies to increase engagement with people, new applications of products to preserve and repair our infrastructure, and improve processes to save time on project delivery and incident management.” For more information about the Federal Highway Administration Every Day Counts Virtual Summit, please visit the EDC website. #EDC #EveryDayCounts #FHA #FederalHighwayAdministration
EDC is a State–based model that identifies and rapidly deploys proven, yet underutilized innovations to shorten the project delivery process, enhance roadway safety, reduce traffic congestion, and integrate automation. The summit is an integral component of the EDC model, bringing together transportation leaders and front-line professionals responsible for the development and delivery of highway projects. We are excited to conduct the EDC-6 summit virtually this year and welcome participation from all of our partners–State DOTs, local agencies, federal land management agencies, tribes and industry–to encourage creative thinking, and celebrate a shared vision for new opportunities.
Headquartered in Cambridge, MA between Harvard and MIT, WeatherBuild® offers a suite of decision support solutions that empower contractors, owners, and operators to improve situational awareness and make better-informed decisions about weather events, schedule impacts, safety risks, and probable outcomes.
