CAMBRIDGE, MA — WeatherBuild®, Decision Support Solutions for the Construction Industry and Built Environment™, is proud to announce a new release of the WeatherBuild API™ (Application Programming Interface). The WeatherBuild API enables developers to connect with WeatherBuild and enhance the functionality of both partner platforms and internal applications.
Supporting integration with and interoperability between a broad spectrum of platforms and applications in the construction industry and built environment, the WeatherBuild API enables secure communications and information exchanges between WeatherBuild Solutions™ and partners’ platforms and customers’ applications via web services over the internet.
WeatherBuild’s partners and customers can get WeatherBuild’s reports, notifications and alerts, including daily reports, tomorrow’s outlook reports, seven-day outlook reports, nowcast reports, and severe weather reports, with weather events, schedule impacts, and probable outcomes for each project — helping teams improve situational awareness and make better-informed decisions.
Further, the WeatherBuild API enables partners and customers to display WeatherBuild weather event, schedule impact, and probable outcome data within their own platforms and applications, and in turn, leverage the WeatherBuild data together with their proprietary data for actionable intelligence, in order to increase productivity, enhance safety and manage risk across their construction and operation activities.
