The major release also includes enterprise-class, custom workflow and custom distribution to both project stakeholders, such as general contractors, construction managers, and project owners, and to work crews, such as union laborers, equipment operators, and material suppliers.
Contractors, owners and operators can use WeatherBuild’s built-in weather event criteria or “weather rules” out of the box, or opt to create site-specific, custom weather rules for work crews, heavy equipment, building products, and construction materials. Further, custom weather rules can be configured to meet your project needs, contract requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), by project type, by construction phase, or by MasterFormat ® Numbers & Titles, as three of many examples.
As a part of its full-service weather risk management and weather decision support solutions, WeatherBuild’s construction technologists and subject matter experts (SMEs) offer consulting services to contractors, owners and operators to develop customer weather event criteria. Consulting services include custom weather rule sets for regional business units and heavy equipment fleets, such as mobile crawler cranes.
