Addition of over 1.7 million US-based weather stations to the WeatherBuild Station network
CAMBRIDGE, MA — WeatherBuild®, Decision Support Solutions for the Construction Industry and Built Environment®, is proud to announce the release of a series of powerful enhancements to WeatherBuild Station™ — integration with a wide range of weather stations to support hyper-local and site-specific weather risk reports, alerts and analytics. Enhancements feature the addition of over 1.7 million US-based weather stations to the WeatherBuild Station network.
New water and rainfall data about lakes, reservoirs, and water-use facilities
WeatherBuild aggregates raw weather and environmental data from numerous public and private sources. Publicly-accredited, quality-controlled sources include weather stations, sensor suites, data loggers, and water gages across the United States, Canada and worldwide. The over 1.7 million US-based weather stations measure water and rainfall data about stream reaches, wells, test holes, springs, tunnels, drains, lakes, reservoirs, ponds, excavations, and water-use facilities, for example.
