Targeted weather risk assessments specific to each group’s scope of work
CAMBRIDGE, MA — WeatherBuild®, Decision Support Solutions for the Construction Industry and Built Environment®, is proud to announce the release of a new “groups” feature set. Now in WeatherBuild Web, project administrators can define groups of subcontractors, such as trade contractors, equipment operators, material suppliers, and work crews.
After groups are defined, project administrator users can then assign one or many custom weather event criteria or “weather rules” to each group, in addition to individual recipients. Each group gets custom event reports with targeted weather risk assessments specific to the group’s scope of work. Further, contractors get a master report with all event reports.
For example, under MasterFormat Section 01 54 23 Temporary Scaffolding and Platforms, the scaffolding subcontractor only gets event reports with risk assessments of perimeter vertical netting and guard rail systems in high winds and wind gusts. Each event report includes specific actions to take before and after wind events, depending on wind speeds.
