New weather station suite — the Vantage Pro2 Weather Station with Sonic Anemometer plus WeatherLink Live

In the construction industry and built environment, weather station data is critical for historical record, risk management, and dispute resolution, to help substantiate notices-of-delay (NODs), requests for relief, and requests for extension with actual outcomes and ground truth.
Further, the new weather station suite enables contractors, owners, and operators to stream live weather data over Wi-Fi to WeatherBuild Web, Procore, and Trimble CrewSight. As one of many examples in construction and operations, monitoring wind speed and direction is critical to ensure safe and efficient equipment operations at height. The Sonic Anemometer accurately measures wind direction and speed — with no moving parts, capturing wind speeds from 0 mph to 89 mph. A 40’ cable gives project teams the option to mount the Sonic Anemometer separately from the weather station for best siting in the field.
The Vantage Pro2 Weather Station with Sonic Anemometer is solar-powered with a battery backup; the WeatherLink Live is AC-powered with a battery backup. And, the WeatherLink Live can collect data from over 80 sensors in up to eight transmitters in any combination, across your job site or laydown yard.
