Cambridge, MA, May 22, 2017 — Weather Build, Inc., Decision Support Solutions for the Construction Industry & Built Environment™, is excited to announce the release of WeatherBuild Web Version 1.0.53. Enhancements to WeatherBuild Web include the ability first to define multiple work shifts and second to schedule reports at the start and finish times for each work shift, as a project administrator level user.
In the Edit Project view in WeatherBuild Web, a project administrator level user can now set the Work Shift Starting Time, Work Shift Ending Time, Daily Report Time and Tomorrow’s Outlook Report Time for each work shift. Default work shifts in WeatherBuild Web are based on three, normal work shifts: 7 AM to 3 PM for the first work shift, 3 PM to 11 PM for the second work shift, and 11 PM to 7 AM for the third work shift.
A normal work shift is generally considered to be a work period of no more than eight consecutive hours during the day, five days a week with at least an eight-hour rest. Project stakeholders use second and third work shifts, and from time to time extended work shifts, for weather risk management to increase the impact of positive weather events and to decrease the impact of negative weather events in the project.
Daily Reports and Tomorrow’s Outlook Reports by work shifts are available in both WeatherBuild Notify™ and WeatherBuild Enterprise™. WeatherBuild Notify serves hyper-local weather risk reports with automated delivery to your project teams. WeatherBuild Enterprise empowers your project teams with custom hyper-local weather risk solutions with claims and risk management tools.
