In the WeatherBuild Basic solution, real-time, hyper-local lightning strike detection alerts, lightning strike reports, all clear notifications, and lightning history logs include lightning strike details such as polarity, intensity, and other data elements important to construction project and capital program stakeholders across the total asset lifecycle of the built environment.
With the lightning all clear countdown timer in the WeatherBuild Mobile app, potential all clear and all clear notifications help you and your project team members improve situational awareness and make better-informed decisions when to ready crews, warm-up equipment, reinstate activities and resume work — and when to remain in safe shelter if nearby lightning strikes threaten life-safety.
Further, a project administrator user in WeatherBuild Web can configure the lightning all clear time for each project, to align with project-specific, lightning emergency action plans (LEAPs) for severe weather, dangerous thunderstorms and lightning strikes, for example. The recommended default setting for the lightning all clear time is to resume work after at least 30-minutes.
