Part of the WeatherBuild Equipment Risk Management Series
As the season starts to transition over to spring and the weather begins to warm above freezing, here are 20 pre-season preparation points and maintenance tips for general contractors, fleet managers, and equipment operators to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
WeatherBuild offers weather risk analytics, predictive event-impact scenarios, and prescriptive resource recommendations for heavy equipment and best practices such as season-to-season transitions.

- Check for signs of wear and damage.
- Inspect for leaks and other signs of problems.
- Service each grease point as recommended.
- Inspect tires, rims, tracks, and components.
